Victoria Beckham, a British fashion designer, has collaborated on a knitwear collection with Australian company The Woolmark Company. The collection is made from merino and natural dyes. The collection includes cosy and comfy sweaters, cardigans, and knitted accessories for both adults and children with intarsia details and contrast stripes.
The collection was produced in Pescara (Italy) using 100 percent merino. Merino is the original eco-fibre and it’s completely natural, renewable, and biodegradable. Victoria Beckham selected non-mulesed, fully traceable merino that comes from just five Australian sheepgrowers. This was announced by The Woolmark Company in a press release.
The collection’s colour palette is warm and earthy, thanks to a unique dyeing process based on plants. Natural dyes are created without chemicals by using other ingredients like flowers, leaves, and berries. All garments are Woolmark certified and tested for colourfastness and longevity.
Victoria Beckham , creative director of , said: “I’m so excited to launch the Farm to Shop Floor collection. I wanted to mark this occasion with classic but fun designs for both adults and kids. This will provide everyone of all ages with the building blocks to create the perfect statement and cozy winter wardrobe.”
This collection is available at many retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Zalando.
