Tom Tailor is a German fashion retailer. It recently announced it had partnered with Newstore, an omnichannel cloud platform that’s mobile-first. The casual lifestyle and fashion brand will offer a premium mobile experience to increase engagement with customers and drive sales.
The app offers the entire Tom Tailor catalogue, giving customers an interactive and intuitive shopping experience. Tom Tailor’s customers in Germany are now able to download the app for both iOS and Android. The brand plans to expand the app into other markets shortly.
“Mobile sales have become a major business driver for Tom Tailor. However, to fully capitalise on the channel we needed to upgrade our consumer application. Newstore’s solution was the best we have seen. “Our new app gives our customers the experience of being in a flagship store,” said Hendrik reuter, director of consumer engagement and e-commerce at Tom Tailor.
Tom Tailor has all the tools necessary to maintain an engaging and modern app through Newstore Studio. Newstore consumer applications have proven to increase engagement 2.5x, and conversion rates 7x more than a website. Newstore’s seamless integration with Scayle – Tom Tailor’s ecommerce platform – will make it easier to update the app and provide accurate real-time information about products and inventory.
“Consumers have become more mobile-minded, so brands such as Tom Tailor must think beyond traditional brick-and mortar and ecommerce,” said Stephan Schambach. He is the founder and CEO of Newstore.
